Piece No. 1: The Interview Issue
The first release is built directly onto the shell of an actual vintage Playboy magazine, its original red and gray masthead still intact on the spine, cover lines for "The Rolling Stones: An Insider's Seamy Story" and "Candy's Back" still legible across the top edge. Layered into the collage is a full magazine spread of "Ladies and Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones," a memoir excerpt by Tony Sanchez, along with candid black and white photography of Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, and portraits of Marianne Faithfull and Bianca Jagger from the same era. Around the edges, smaller clipped text columns reference other names from the magazine's original run, giving the piece the feel of a lost 1970s newsstand relic that's been physically reconstructed into three dimensional art

The second piece updates the concept for right now. One panel is built around a striking Anne Hathaway beauty and jewelry editorial, styled in dark sunglasses and a full emerald and diamond suite. The adjoining panel features Black Panther star Winston Duke in a floral Louis Vuitton look, set against a moody, painterly backdrop. The interior of the piece reveals gilded architectural photography and warm, ambient bar and lounge imagery, so that opening the piece feels like stepping into a different room entirely.
