What Michelin’s Summer New York Additions Actually Mean
Michelin’s July 2026 New York additions offer a useful starting point for a dining list. The guide included Brooklyn restaurants Confidant, arthur and Balera, alongside Manhattan names such as Odo East Village, Len Len and Kjun.
There is an essential distinction in that announcement: entering the selection is not the same as receiving a star. Michelin says its star and Bib Gourmand distinctions are announced at the annual ceremony, while new restaurants enter the selection during the year.
